Over the Midterm break, 14 TY students travelled to Zagreb on an Erasmus+ exchange with V.Gimnazija High School. The aim of this project was to explore the topics of Sustainability and Wellbeing.

During the week, our students presented to their Croatian partners on the life of a student in Ireland and even showed them some Gaelic Football skills! They also visited classes and saw what a school day was like in Croatia. On Tuesday the group enjoyed a day trip to the historic city of Varaždin and Trakošćan Catle. They experienced a guided tour of Zagreb, an ice-hockey match, ice-skating, bowling and the trip concluded with a trip to Terme Tuhelj water park.

We would like to sincerely thank the staff and students of V. Gimzanija for hosting us and you are welcome to visit Trim any time!

Well done to all the students for their efforts all week and big thanks to Mr. Kajic for organising a great exchange trip
